Important Query!

I was informed that my pie presentation needs to improve. Does anyone have suggestions on how to make a good crust and prevent the pie from ‘sploding out the edges when I slice it?

    It depends what kind of pie you’re making, and how moist it is. The Sun Pie kind of came apart into a crumble when I ordered it, which I think was because the fruit on top were clinging to each other more than the crust underneath. So with lattice-type pie toppings, it’s probably best to have a really sharp knife to cut through them, and to match it with a crust that doesn’t crumble so easily. With wetter pie fillings, it’s probably also good to have a solid crust to balance it. But the rhubarb pie, in addition to being so delicious, was perfect consistency, and was neat when cut up. I think it just takes experimentation, and maybe following some crust recipes in the beginning until you see what combination of liquid/solid ingredients produce the consistency you want. And also oven temp. Hmmm. Anyway, wonderful pie creativity and love the blog! Haha see you soon. :)
